Queensland’s transport minister, Rachel Nolan, has announced that Eagle Junction Railway Station will be the first to undergo a facelift from the State Government’s $200million plan for SouthEast Qld train stations.
The $10 million project will make the well worn station unrecognisable and allow for possible retail spaces. This is great news for one of the busiest suburban station which is a key location due to it being the connecting station for the airport trains.
The improvements are planned to be completed by mid next year.
